The sound of a hammered dulcimer is captivating, sweet, light, and lively. Learning to play this ancient instrument is deceptively easy, especially if you enjoy playing by ear!
Our 17/16 model features 17 courses of strings on the treble bridge and 16 courses on the bass bridge giving the instrument a range from D3 to F6. Thin instrument has a slightly larger range than most hammered dulcimers on the market today. The solid mahogany soundboard provides a beautiful, full tone and a high degree of stability.
