Installing a rosette

Easiest
	Just cut a slightly undersized hole and glue the rosette to the rim so it sits on top of the wood. The rosette hides the edges of the hole, so you need not be perfectly accurate with your cutting

Intermediate
	Cut a shallow hole slightly larger than the rosette. Then cut through slightly smaller than the Rosette to create a ledge. This adds a nice margin around the rosette, highlighting the laser-cut edges.

Difficult
	Cut the hole to the exact size of the rosette. If the soundboard is only 1/8” thick, you will need to support the rosette underneath with some tabs or a ring, as shown.
