      This instruction book by Lani K. Thompson contains several lessons for the 10 string Kantele. Each lesson is illustrated with color photos, and there is also some basic chord charts, info on caring for your kantele and her arrangments of 36 traditional Finnish folk tunes and songs.

      The book comes with a CD that contains video files illustrating some of the techniques and song files for 13 songs so you can hear how each part of the song sounds as well as how the song sounds when all parts are played together.
