Packing Hardware

In each kit you will find a padded manilla envelop containing all of the hardware you need and the directions for that kit. This doesn't just happen all by itself. We actually have to count out 31 tuning pins, 31 eyelets, and 31 guidepins and put them in little bags for every 31-String Gothic Harp kit that we sell. There is actually quite a bit of counting going on at Musicmaker's now that I think of it. Here you see Merry Joy assembling some hardware packs for our bowed psaltery kits. We often pack anywhere from 12-24 hardware packs at a time. So in this case Merry Joy has had to put 32 notched pins and 32 regular tuning pins in a bag 24 times. When you do that many at a time your mind can start to wander causing you to only put 30 tuning pins in a bag. So if you get a kit and you are a tuning pin short now you know why. But don't panic - just give us a call and we will mail out your missing part right away.
