Just taking your orders.

"Hello, Musicmaker's". I can't tell you how many times I have uttered that phrase. As a mail order business we take a lot of phone calls everyday. Here you can see both Merry Joy and Sherry in action taking orders. We have noticed a few odd things over the years. For example - we say, "Hello, Musicmaker's" and one caller said, "Hi. This is so and so and I'm on the other end." We kind of wondered exactly what they were on the other end of, but thought it best not to ask.

Sometimes people tell us exactly what kind of credit card they have. For instance I will ask someone what type of credit card do you have. They will say, "It's a First National Bank of Peoria Savings and Loan Debit, Check, and Visa Card." At which point I mark a check next to the word 'visa' on our order form and silently chuckle to myself.

We also get a lot of calls for Fisher Price. Their telephone number is 1-800-432-KIDS. Our telephone number is 1-800-432-KITS. We probaly get about 4 calls a day for Fisher Price. So if all of you would just take a moment and call Fisher Price and tell them "Sorry, I was trying to reach Musicmaker's", we would really appreciate it. I am kidding of course.
