Lily uses weights to hold the bracing in place on the soundboard until the glue dries.

    Sanding
Carefully sanding with the grain, Lily cleans off excess glue and smoothes the surface of the soundboard.

Grandpa supervises as Lily drills shallow holes for the pearl marking dots to be inlaid in the fretboard.

    Finishing
The walnut sides come to life as Lily applies a clear finish to the wood.

    Finishing
Grandpa recommends Minwax Natural Wood finish for the entire instrument.

    Stringing
Installing the strings is the final step.

    Complete!
Lily is ready to learn guitar now!

    Renaissance
