Position of Harp
When in the stand, the base of the harp sits about 18-19" off the ground and the top of the soundbox is about 40-41" off the ground.
The stand and harp can be tilted back to lay on your shoulder but it is not necessary. The stand is designed for the harpist to sit comfortably and play the harp without the need to tilt the stand back.

This is a great asset for your Sonnet harp. It's both lightweight and sturdy. I feel much more comfortable and easy playing my Sonnet on this stand.

If you have a Sonnet harp you need this stand! I am so happy with this stand... my harp seems to project her voice even more clearly when I use the stand! The design is well thought out and makes playing and displaying my Sonnet so enjoyable. Thank you MusicMakers!

I have ordered the Jolie and Sonnet harp and was pleased with the craftsmanship. I recently ordered the stand to aid in playing my sonnet as a floor harp. It was well thought out in design. I like the magnets in the arms that stay in place on the stand.

Sonnet harp stand
This is a beautiful and sturdy stand. It seems to make the harp sound even better. Also it helps me a lot because I have some physical problems that make holding my harp somewhat difficult.
