Our main focus is on acoustic stringed instruments. Why? Because of the natural beauty of real wood, in both appearance and sound; because acoustic instruments are so portable and useful indoors and out; because acoustic instruments carry with them a long tradition & heritage of cultural significance; because acoustic instruments have that home-spun simplicity which endears them to all ages; because acoustic instruments produce such warm and rich music; and because acoustic instruments engage the player through so many senses – sight, sound, and touch.

We consider it our “calling” to help de-mystify the craft of instrument-making. Though we do offer finished instruments, ready to play, our main calling is to help people learn to build their own acoustic instruments.
