Introducing the Therapy Harp

A new voice, built on an old idea.

In 2008, we invented the Reverie Harp because we believed music therapists, sound healers, and caregivers deserved an instrument as intentional as the work they do — one that anyone could pick up and play beautifully, without a lesson, without a wrong note. It's gone on to find a home in hospice rooms, therapy practices, memory care units, and healing spaces around the world.

The Therapy Harp is the next chapter in that story. Bigger in range, richer in tone, and built with the same purpose: to put a genuinely beautiful instrument into the hands of people who use music to help others heal.

An expanded range for an expanded practice

With 38 strings, the Therapy Harp spans far beyond what a single chord or scale can offer. It gives practitioners room to explore — layering tones, following a client's mood in the moment, moving fluidly between registers without running out of strings. Where the Reverie Harp offers focused simplicity, the Therapy Harp offers depth and breadth, while staying just as approachable to someone who has never played an instrument in their life.

Tonewoods chosen for warmth, not just looks

Every material on this harp was chosen for how it sounds, not just how it shows.

• Solid redwood soundboard — Redwood is prized by instrument makers for its light weight and its ability to respond to the softest touch, producing a warm, resonant voice with plenty of depth. As a solid tonewood rather than a laminate, it moves and breathes the way only solid wood can, giving each harp a full, live tone that only improves with age.
• Laminated maple frame — The frame is built from dieboard-grade maple laminations, the same construction principle used in piano pin blocks — layer upon layer of maple grain, oriented for maximum strength and stability. It's what lets this harp hold 38 strings at tension for years without shifting.
• Laminated maple back — A birch-core panel faced in maple gives the back both the strength to support the instrument's structure and the beauty of a maple finish, inside and out.

Together, these materials are built to last a lifetime of daily use — in a clinical setting, a hospice room, or anywhere else this harp is asked to show up, session after session.

Designed to be played by anyone

Like the Reverie Harp before it, the Therapy Harp requires no musical training to play. There's no wrong note to hit, no chord to memorize — just an instrument that responds to a gentle touch with sound that settles a room. That accessibility is the whole point. It means a music therapist can hand this harp to a client and know that what comes back will be beautiful, regardless of experience.
